New Year's Fest of Kalamazoo

210 Farmer's Alley

Kalamazoo, MI 49007

We need Your Help

Volunteers are an extremely important part of our event, and as such, free admission buttons will be provided to anyone who volunteers. In addition, you can enjoy the fine entertainment and activities while you volunteer your time. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (269) 388-2830.

We hope you will take the time to volunteer at one of our many indoor or outdoor locations. Our volunteer shifts are listed below. Simply send us a quick email with what position and what times you would like to volunteer and we will work to make sure that you are signed up and ready to go. We will send you a confirmation email and place a reminder call a week before New Year's Fest. We accept volunteers until December 30th, but confirmations will be done via email or the phone.

Volunteer Positions

BUTTON CHECKERS
These individuals greet the people as they enter the buildings and check to make sure that everyone is wearing a New Year's Fest button. This is typically an "indoors" job. If you sign up early enough, this is a great spot for a group of volunteers.

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN
You greet the volunteers and instruct them where to go for their assignments. This is located in a heated tent in Bronson Park.

FLOATER
This person acts as a support person to the other volunteers and may fill in where needed.
