Back by popular demand, this improv and sketch comedy group will give you a laugh. They have been entertaining the Kalamazoo area since 2003 and if you’ve got a funny bone, they will find a way to aggravate it in all the right ways!

Location: First United Methodist Church

Alan Smola is thrilled to be returning once again to the Kalamazoo New Year's Fest. This year's show promises to be the best ever, with flashy stage effects, hilarious family comedy and brand new illusions.

Get ready to laugh, giggle, chortle, guffaw! Join  Kenny in a  hilarious world of playful pandemonium, where the audience happily becomes partners in play with his lovable, eccentric character. In his performance, 'To Laugh is to Live!' Kenny pairs extraordinary artistry with delightfully daring antics in a heartwarming performance few can resist.

Zeemo does it all! With over 200 different yo-yo tricks in his  repertoire, Yo-Master Zeemo performs a fast-paced one man circus act filled with tricks, classic juggling, precarious balancing stunts, and dazzling magic. Zeemo's zany personality and flare for excitement entices every audience.

Clark the Juggler presents an action-packed show set to a dynamic rock soundtrack. Watch in awe as he juggles, balances, performs flow art and daring stunts and all things beyond the ordinary.

The mission of MI Hiryu Daiko (MI Flying Dragon Drummers) is to educate and entertain children and adults in Michigan by introducing them to the 2000 year old authentic art of Taiko, from Japan. Performances are dynamic and exciting, with great audience appeal.

 If you love Broadway musicals, you will love hearing them sung by award-winning actor and singer, Jeremy Koch! Enjoy songs from Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, The Bridges of Madison County, a Disney Medley and more! 

Jeremy is a co-founder, producer, Artistic Director and performer at Farmers Alley Theatre, a professional theatre in downtown Kalamazoo.  Jeremy has performed numerous roles at Farmers Alley including Robert in The Bridges of Madison County. Jeremy also played Jean Valjean in Les Miserables at the Kalamazoo Civic.

Would you care to dance? Bring a partner, or find one here! This is a lot like the dancing you've seen in Civil War or Jane Austen movies -- but friendlier, and more fun! Wear removable layers and comfy shoes and join Karen Dunnam as she leads traditional country dancing to live music by the Askin' for Trouble string band.

 Preston's witty banter, comedic timing, and audience engagement are sure to pull you in. His relentless pursuit of illusions, both close up and on stage, will leave you wondering “How’d he do that?”

Born of the question, How's that comedy thing going? Chris Karpinski's Comedy Thing could be stand-up, storytelling, improv or mediocre magic. It's all about getting the audience to laugh. Watch for a special appearance of Marvin the Moose.

 Greg Lester specializes in live puppet shows featuring Jack and the Beanstalk. Adventure with Jack this New Year's Eve and join him on his magical journey up the beanstalk

 Samuel Nalangira is a folk/world musician, dancer and choreographer who has been performing since his childhood. He is a multi-instrumentalist and a master at many traditional instruments. Get ready to dance and most importantly, have fun as Samuel leads the way.
