Fast-Pass Program

The Fast-Pass program is intended for our sites that have limited seating. The intent is to allow New Year's Fest participants the opportunity to see more shows and enjoy the diversity of performers and entertainers.

A Fast-Pass ticket will be distributed in the event that a performance is sold-out. Fast-Pass tickets are free. Attendees with Fast-Pass tickets will receive priority entrance into the next time slot. Fast-Pass tickets are only valid for the specific time and performer listed on the pass.

Fast-Pass users will are recommended to return to the venue 20 minutes prior to show time and no later than 10 minutes prior to show time. Once there are only 10 minutes until show time, anyone will be allowed to be seated in the venue. The Fast-Pass ticket still requires an admission button, and all seating is open on first-come, first-served basis.

Venues that are using the Fast-Pass program for 2019 New Year's Fest include:

  • Ladies' Library Association

  • Farmers Alley Theatre

  • First Baptist Church

Click the performance time you'd like to reserve your slot for. You'll be re-directed to Local Hop, where you

can go ahead and register at no cost.

Hazeltree and Chase Griffin are performing at Ladies' Library Association. Jeremy Koch will be performing at Farmers Alley Theatre, and Crawlspace Eviction at First Baptist Church!

Ball Drop & Fireworks

The fireworks, sponsored by Pfizer will take place at the stroke of midnight.  The Ball Drop, sponsored by Biddergy, Adventure’s Learning Centers, and MacAllister Rentals will take place towards the end of the night featuring a blue lighted ball illuminating throughout downtown.  The ball drop is hoisted by

Mac Allister Rental. Both the ball drop and the fireworks are free to attend.   Remember, to attend the performances, individuals must have an admission button ($7 in advance, $10 the day of the event).
