The Kalamazoo Concert Band was founded in 1961 to provide continued symphonic band experiences beyond high school and college instrumental music programs. The KCB provides competent area wind and percussion musicians and opportunity to continue performing.
The KCB presents four concerts per season (October, December, February, April). All concerts are free and open to the public.
Six performances are scheduled for this special night. This is the brass ensemble from the Kalamazoo Concert Band who will be performing.

Join crossover Violinist, Barry Ross, acclaimed Jazz Pianist Terry Lower, and renowned Vocalist Lana Hoffman, for “The Great American Songbook and All That Jazz”
After a decade of performances together, this remarkable trio will be joined by Larry Ochiltree on drums (formerly with the Maynard Ferguson Band).
Offering a thrilling evening of songs by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, Harold Arlen, and George Gershwin (including his immortal “Rhapsody in Blue”), this will be a performance you will not want to miss!
Tuba New Year

Tuba New Year is a tradition and it officially kicks off New Year's Fest when tuba players join together to perform Harvey Phillips TubaChristmas. The performance is 30 minutes and it is unique every time it is played.
