Thank you Kalamazoo for Supporting New Year’s Fest!

Thank you to everyone who came to support New Year’s Fest and our community celebration of the performing arts.  It was a spectacular night and the Board of Directors appreciates everyone’s participation.  We were amazed that we sold out of the 8,000 printed buttons.  And, we apologize to everyone who couldn’t get a button.  We knew that our “at one time” seating capacity is about 7,000 seats and we couldn’t sell more buttons due to fire-code requirements and respect to our attendees who successfully purchased the buttons.  Our apologies and we will work at how we can fix the problem for 2010. 

We need your partnership – we would love to collect pictures from the night – a community snapshot of a night of celebration and enjoyment.  Please send your pictures to and we will post them on the website. 

We need your opinions.  We invested a lot of time and money into the Fast Pass program as a way to reduce lines and help to encourage people to be “guaranteed” a seat for a following performance(s).  We know that our volunteers worked hard to communicate that but we need to “tweak” the process.  Please give us your suggestions.    There is a fillable survey to this link that you can complete and hit the submit button to return.  Open Form

The New Year’s Fest Board of Directors (New Year’s Fest is a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization) work diligently to recruit and secure an entertainment line-up that will amaze and create wonderful memories of a great New Year’s Eve celebration.  We will start our process again in February, so please give us your entertainment suggestions.
