New Year's Fest
A Celebration of the
Performing Arts
December 31st, 2023
New Year's Fest is quickly approaching!
We can't wait to celebrate with you.
So, what's New Year's Fest?
New Year’s Fest is an all-ages showcase of performing arts that takes place on New Year's Eve in Downtown Kalamazoo. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 12 a.m. to ring in the New Year. The event features live music, performers, and an array of different types of performing entertainment.
Performances are scheduled for 4-30 minute or 3-45 minute performances that rotate throughout the night. This allows attendees to schedule their attendance based on when they can/want to attend within their time frame. The performance grid
will allow you to create your evening's entertainment schedule.
The 2023 New Year's Fest will host 5 indoor performance locations, 2 heated tents, and live music from Bronson Park Stage. Performances include bands, magic, storytelling, unique acts, and jugglers, theatre, and interactive
performances that get the audience moving.
We will highlight the restaurants and local businesses that will offer outdoor dining or experiences on New Year's Eve. Bronson Park is also a Central Common's location so beverages can be purchase at participating businesses.
The easiest way to plan your evening is to go to the entertainment tab. There are multiple tabs that include the performances you can see, and when you can see them. We recommend printing the performance grid, and then circling the performances that you want to see. Pick a couple of choices incase one of the performances is full. PLAN AHEAD AND FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE!
Make sure to check out all of the performances so that you know your choices. And, if you have kids coming along with you - check out the "Great for the Family" tab where you will see entertainment for kids. And, then remember the Comedy Tent on Church street.
